Ingredients :
  • 4 fresh red carrot
  • 2 tbsp tandoori veg mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp mustard sauce with honey 
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp black pepper ( optional) 
  • raisin for garnishing (is also optional, as I have not added this)

To prepare the carrot salad use fresh carrot, wash then thoroughly to remove impurities as they are root vegetables.

place the grated carrot in medium sized bowl. then add tandoori mayonnaise , mustard sauce , salt, black pepper and dash of lemon juice.

Give it a good mix. stir until grated carrot is evenly coated in dressing well. now your carrot salad is ready to serve.so you can enjoy this with your lunch / dinner. you can store this in refrigerator for 4 days at least. just before serving toss it again only.

Notes :
  • you can add raisin in your recipe as garnishing that will make the salad more nutrients.
  • with raw carrot you can also add grated beetroot in carrot salad.
  • it will taste even better when made fresh.
  • for dressing you can also use some healthy seeds like sesame seed or flaxseeds. that will make salad crunchy.
  • EVOO is also best option for dressing you can add this also.
