Furthermore, some pro tips and suggestions for a mushroom masala recipe. firstly, choose fresh mushroom to cook and also wash thoroughly under the tap so it can remove the impurities. secondly, big mushroom should be chopped into two pieces and if mushrooms are small in size then no need to chop. I made this mushroom masala with rich gravy so I have added little water. if you want slurry style gravy then add little more water.

Ingredients :
4 tbs mustard oil
1 tsp cumin / jeera
4-5 clove
2 medium sized onion
1 medium sized capsicum
1 medium sized tomato
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
10- 15 mushroom
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp garam masala podwder
2 tbsp coriander leaves
salt as per taste
Cream for garnishing (optional)

- first, wash the mushroom and chop onion, tomato and capsicum. peel few garlic pods and ginger.
- Saute cumin seed and clove in mustard oil till they turn armatic.
- Add chopped onion and saute at medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour
- then add mushroom, ginger garlic,salt and turmeric powder into that and cover the lid. so that mushroom can be softly cooked in this aroma.
- mushroom will leave a lot of water itself if it is fresh. so cover and simmer for 5 minutes so that mushroom can be cooked in the same. continue to saute for minutes then mushroom will be fried well also. then add chopped capsicum and tomato.
cover and cook for minutes then capsicum and tomato will not be overcooked. further add remaining spices like coriander powder, red chilly powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder and garam masala powder.
- saute on low flame for a minute or till masalas are cooked well. then add 1/2 cup of water and mix well.cover and simmer for 10 mintues.your mushroom is already cooked so wait till gravy become rich.
- your mushroom masala is ready now .you can serve mushroom curry this with naan or jeera rice.
